HEATERS FOR ELECTRIC CABLE LAYING

In Rimatek’s various applications, special electric wiring heaters have been developed to heat high-voltage cables or large-size cables and allow for easier installation, especially on bends.
Warming up large electrical cables allows for the plastic insulation to be softened and, therefore, be more flexible.

Heaters for electric cable laying – examples

You can use Rimatek personalised insulation covers to heat the cable reels in their entirety, or apply the thermal cover for flexible cables only on a section of the cable to facilitate bending, machining, and subsequent installation.
