Industrial machines operating in cold or harsh climates may experience performance or operational issues when oil filters are exposed to low temperatures. Heating blankets wrap around the filter and close over it, allowing the oil to be heated and ensuring proper lubrication of the machinery even during cold start-up phases.
Another common issue is the formation of condensation on the filters caused by the contrast between the hot oil and the ambient humidity, which can result in internal or external water drips that contaminate the product. In this case, the filter can be thermally insulated to isolate it from the external environment, thereby preventing condensation from forming.
