Large antennas

In data transmission and telecommunications, particularly when installations are located in cold regions or at high altitudes, there are many situations in which ice or snow can accumulate on antennas, compromising transmission quality and bandwidth.

The use of thermal or insulating blankets provides an effective solution to prevent these issues. Dedicated anchoring systems have been designed for masts and antennas to withstand strong gusts of wind at high altitude.
Control panels and management units are supplied to ensure proper system operation, which can be remotely monitored and managed upon request.

In the military sector, we have developed solutions for heating data transmission dishes used at high altitudes to ensure proper functionality in sub-zero temperatures that may occur on site.

In the telecommunications field, we design specific heating solutions for internet providers to protect satellite dishes installed on radio links and network backbones.

We also supply thermal blankets for wireless antennas installed by operators in locations requiring continuous service and guaranteed bandwidth in snow-prone areas — for example, hotels and facilities in mountain resorts that need reliable internet connections even during prolonged snowstorms that could otherwise accumulate on the antennas.

Additionally, we have produced specialized thermal blankets for a national mobile network operator that needed to guarantee data transmission over its radio links under any weather conditions.
