Features and Benefits

The heating bands for large LPG tanks are certified for installation in ATEX environments, that is, in potentially explosive atmospheres. They are built in compliance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and are suitable for use in “Zone 2”. The thermal bands for large tanks are made with flame-retardant and/or self-extinguishing materials to ensure maximum safety.

The ATEX heating blankets for large tanks are designed to optimize LPG delivery in domestic or industrial environments, ensuring optimal and constant gas pressure even at low temperatures. Low external temperatures, as well as high gas demand, may cause the tank to freeze, making gas outflow difficult. The application of heating bands prevents the cooling of the tank, ensuring functionality and safe operation.

Each single band must be wrapped around the lower side of the tank and secured with a strap. The installation on a tank requires the use of several modules (3,000 L – 3 bands / 4,000 L – 4 bands / 5,000 L – 5 bands). *
