Features and Benefits

Drum and barrel heating blankets are made with fire-retardant, water-repellent fabrics and allow temperature control through an electronic unit. These drum heaters are used in all sectors requiring the heating or temperature maintenance of various substances: liquids (such as oil, syrups, and chemical compounds), viscous materials (such as paints, adhesives, and resins), and gases (such as CO2) contained in metal or plastic drums.

Drum heating jackets protect contents from cold and allow safe control of material viscosity. The heat is distributed evenly without hot spots along the container’s surface, preventing damage to both the drum and its contents. The insulation minimizes heat loss, reducing waste and increasing thermal efficiency, which leads to lower energy consumption. These drum heaters also help facilitate certain industrial processes.

Drum heating bands are available in various sizes to fit drums and tanks of different dimensions. The heating blanket should be wrapped around the drum and secured with Velcro straps for a snug fit. Then, simply set the control unit to the desired temperature. The blanket can be easily mounted or removed as needed — for example, used only during the winter season or in particularly humid or harsh environments.

Instructions :

It is possible to choose from 4 sizes depending on the diameter of the drum to be heated. For the largest size (TI_F.D.xxx), temperature control can be managed either through the version with an integrated control unit or the version with a detachable external control unit.

Optional accessories

  • Content probes: for internal temperature monitoring of drums where the TI_F.D.000 model is installed, a dedicated external control unit must be supplied. This can be connected to a stainless steel rod probe that allows setting the desired temperature for the drum’s contents, or to a plastic probe with the same function, installable on a tank probe port with an internal diameter of 6 mm.
