Features and Benefits

IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) heating blankets are made of fire-retardant and water-repellent fabrics and allow temperature control through an electronic unit. The thermal cover for tanks is ideal for keeping liquids, resins, or other sensitive materials at the optimal temperature, used in industrial processes during the winter season or for preheating chemical substances to a temperature different from the ambient one throughout the year.

The blankets for IBC tanks protect against the cold, control viscosity, and maintain the product temperature safely, thus avoiding damage to the substances inside and preventing waste. The heating is evenly distributed without hot spots over the entire side surface of the tank, and the insulation reduces heat loss, preventing damage to both the container and the contents while improving energy efficiency. How to use: wrap the heating blanket around the sides of the IBC tank and fasten it with Velcro and straps to ensure a tight fit. Place the insulating lid on top for better insulation. Simply set the desired temperature on the controller and wait for heating. The blanket allows easy access to the top cap and bottom drain without removal.

It is possible to choose between two types of IBC heating blankets: the antifreeze version, with 1800W power, which prevents the product from freezing, and the enhanced version, with 2750W power, capable of heating the contents even during the coldest seasons. Both models are supplied as standard with a detachable external control unit for temperature regulation.

Optional accessories

  • Content probes: for monitoring the internal temperature of the IBC tank, a dedicated external control unit must be supplied instead of the standard one. It can be connected either to a stainless steel probe rod that allows setting the desired temperature for the contents, or to a plastic probe with the same function, installable on a probe port of the tank with an internal diameter of 6 mm.

  • Rain cover: when using the heating blanket outdoors, this accessory is required to protect it from adverse weather conditions.
